The song written after the Papineau Rebellion has become an folk anthem for Quebecers.
This was recorded at the Fete Nationale de L’Acadie in August 2008.
It was raining on stage so we sat around in the tent reserved for the musicians and swapped songs.
Thanks to all the musicians who accompanied me and the audience who inspired us with their singing. Credits are in the video.

Beautiful song and very well sung.It always amazes me how Philip Leblanc can just join in with the flute and add so much cool melody to a song, very well done .Hats off to you Stephen and everyone else.
Thanks.
It was a very special moment as I started. People started joining in and by the end it was a tent full of joy. The musicians were playing beautifully - the flute was wonderful, the violin inspired, Remi on the guitar was elegant, and the singing...ah the singing... A happy moment.
